Hunting Whitetail
Deer
Maine has a reputation for Boone and Crockett trophy racks, and
the big 200-pound and above white-tail deer. The Patten area abounds
with these big trophies in their natural habitat.
The Patten Hunting Lodge hold the state record for doe, at
180 lbs. Field-dressed. And Bill himself holds the lodge record
for buck, field-dressed at 272 lbs. Our record of success proves
we know where the big ones are.
Our
hunts are all guided, and the areas we hunt are scouted so that
we are very familiar with the game in each cover. Hunts include
lunch in the woods, field dressing, transportation and trophy preparation
for taxidermy.
